Dance Etiquette
Social Dancing: As you'll be closely with others, please ensure your attire is clean and tidy. Avoid foods with strong odors, like garlic or onions, before class, and remember to apply deodorant.
Punctuality Matters: Arrive promptly your classes. If you're running late, enter quietly and wait for the instructor’s signal to join.
Follow Instructions: Pay close attention to your instructor and refrain from talking while they are speaking.
Stay for the Duration: It's best to remain for the entire class. If you must leave early inform your instructor beforehand and exit discreetly.
Stay Engaged: Always pay attention, especially while waiting for your turn. Avoid appearing bored or hunched over.
Silence Your Phone: Turn off your mobile device. Even on vibrate, it can still create distractions.

Do Your Best: If find yourself in a class beyond your skill level, don’t give up or get frustrated — keep trying, and no one will hold it against you.
Maintain a Clean Dance Floor: If you spill a drink, please clean it up promptly to prevent accidents.
Choose Minimal Jewelry: Opt for jewelry that won’t pose a risk to fellow dancers
Dance to Your Partner's Level: If you're experienced leader dancing with a beginner, start with simple movements before progressing to advanced steps. Remember, we’ve all been beginners at some point. If not asked for advice, please hold back.
Wear Appropriate Attire: Followers should wear smooth-soled shoes like leather or for ease of movement, while leaders should avoid shoes with a strong grip, as they can hinder smooth turns and cause injury.
Be Considerate of Others: Arrive healthy to class, free from cold or flu symptoms. If you're unwell, please stay home to prevent spreading illness.
Express Gratitude: At end of class, always thank your instructor and aim for improvement next time.
